NPLQ

Are you a good swimmer? Do you want to earn extra money? If so why not become a Lifeguard?

A Pool Lifeguard is professionally qualified, highly trained, is responsible and works well in a team, is physically and mentally fit, confident in water and interested in welfare of others.

Course Pre-requisites

Aged 16 on start of course
Swim 50 metres in 1 minute or less
Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back
Surface dive to deepest part of the pool
Tread water in deep water for 30 seconds
Climb out pool unaided, without using steps
Jump or dive into the pool in deep water
Demonstrate you're fit and healthy
